The World Cup 2022 journey started at the beginning of the month, with the group stage draw and the release of the new official ball.
The ball that will be played at the World Cup is called “Al Rihla” which translates to “The Journey”.
The design was inspired by the architecture, iconic Qatari boats “Dhow” and the flag of Qatar.
