Latest from Footlab

The new home of soccer in Porto, the Liga Portugal Arena, was officially opened with the presence of Prime Minister Luís Montenegro, Liga Portugal President Pedro Proença, Porto Mayor Rui Moreira, our Footlab founder Rui Costa, alongside other distinguished leaders from the soccer world.

The Liga Portugal Lab builds on the innovative foundation of the Footlab concept but has been carefully adapted and customized to reflect the identity and values of Liga Portugal, offering a truly exclusive experience for all soccer athletes and fans.

The Liga Portugal Lab is an innovative concept that brings together soccer, cutting-edge technology, and accessibility, creating a unique experience for all ages and skill levels. In an interactive and highly technological environment, players can improve skills such as speed, technique, strength, and accuracy, with real-time performance analysis that transforms training into valuable data.

Ideal for groups of friends, schools, academies, professional players, and even celebrations, the space promotes social interaction, development, and inclusion, ensuring that soccer is an experience for everyone.

A commitment to inclusion and accessibility

More than just sports, the Liga Portugal Lab promotes inclusion and equal opportunities through dedicated initiatives, such as:

• Open Days: Providing access to all communities, encouraging participation in soccer.
• Special Programs: Activities for children with special needs, offering personalized support so that everyone can participate and grow.

These actions reflect the commitment of Liga Portugal Lab and Footlab to democratize access to sports and make soccer a driving force for positive societal impact.

A project with a global vision

Located within the new Headquarters of Liga Portugal and equipped with state-of-the-art technology developed by Footlab, the Liga Portugal Lab is the first step in a broader plan integrated into the Liga Experience concept. This initiative aims to transform soccer into an experience that unites innovation, inclusion, and passion for the sport.

Porto is just the beginning. This ambitious project plans to expand to other locations, creating a network of spaces dedicated to performance and enjoyment in sports, where soccer and technology coexist in a unique way.
